NaturevsFuture is once again a partner for Ingeo™ Earth month!
Ingeo™ is a man-made fiber made from 100% annually renewable resources. In this case corn is put through a process to make plant sugars, fermented & then transformed into a polymer in which ingeo™ fiber is extruded. It's compostable & recyclable. It's made without using fossil fuel & doesn't omit greenhouse gases. This means it doesn't contribute to the changes in our global climate.
We will have 3 new pieces made out of this great fiber.

"Project Earth Day" the eco-fashion show put on by the Emerging Green Builders (EGB) Chapter of NYC celebrating Earth Day was a great success. Designers showcased their sustainable collections proving you can now be eco conscious & highly fashionable at the same time.

Nest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the lives of women in developing countries. The mission of Nest is to support women artists and artisans in the developing world by helping them create sustainable entrepreneurial businesses. Nest will do this by providing micro-credit loans to be used for the purchase of the supplies and materials necessary to begin and/or maintain art or craft-based businesses.
The funds for these loans will be generated by selling a unique line of clothing, accessories and merchandise for the home produced exclusively for Nest by a group of artists and designers.

Seed is a collective of NYC based independent fashion, accessories, and jewelry designers. Their collections are designed and produced exclusively in NYC.
This restless creative group decided to band together and creat an intimate and personal shopping experience. SEED designers directly engage their customers and retail buyers and introduce previews of seasonal collections before retail venues carry them.
This months Seed event coincides with the annual Dumbo Arts Festival. We hope you can join us!
